KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (June 2014) - Kilronan Professional Services is pleased to announce that president and founder David P. Powell has been elected Vice President of Public Relations for the Valley Forge Toastmasters, one of the region's oldest chapters of Toastmasters International.

Powell was among a slate of new club officers who will serve a one-year term.

"This is a very successful Toastmasters chapter that's been helping people in the Philadelphia suburbs develop better communication and leadership skills for more than 50 years," Powell said. "I'm honored to be selected by the club's members to serve as their Vice President of Public Relations, a role that will enable me to leverage some of the same skills and experience I already use on behalf of clients."

Toastmasters International was founded by Ralph C. Smedley in 1924. Originally conceived as a forum to help the men of Bloomington, Illinois learn how to speak, conduct meetings, plan programs and work on committees, the group now boasts more than 300,000 members in almost 15,000 clubs across 126 countries.
